Eskom released a press released on Sunday passed announcing that Stage 2 load shedding will be implemented immediately without delay. Since then, load-shedding has escalated to Stage 4 and today Stage 3 again. It's hard to keep up with all these updates and even harder to be without electricity, after all as businesses our day to day activities generally rely in one way or the other on this basic necessity. From making our morning expresso to building literal and figurative empires.

Unfortunately, Eskom has proved to be unreliable and seem only to fix what is broken instead of scheduling regular maintenance. This is explicitly shown by them cancelling load-shedding during the silly season, and now we face the repercussions twofold. 

As both individuals and businesses throwing snarky comments and complaining about the current situation won't help, the best we can do for ourselves and to help our businesses thrive in these dark hours is to be prepared. 2. When you can expect load-shedding in your area of concern. 

Having this info helps get rid of the bitter taste in every South Africa's mouth when being caught out unexpectedly by load-shedding. Unfortunately, it cannot get rid of the annoyance!
